Red Sox Game Used Jersey

So besides being listed as a 1993 jersey when the tag clearly states 1994, are there any issues with this jersey. The mis-listing makes me skeptical. I want the experts to comment on the tagging, the russell tag seems consistent with 1994, but I am not sure about the rest. i seached for the ebay user name krukcards (http://myworld.ebay.com/krukcards/) on the site and didn't find anything. Please comment.

I am not sure if I would call this misleading!!

It seems more like just a simple typo which the seller didn't realize. He listed it clearly several times in the description it is from 1994 and shows a clear picture of the atgging from 1994. So it wasn't like he was trying to hide it.

He says the item came from the Fenway yard sale. Which the Red Sox did have on recently. i blieve a member or 2 here did go to that so they would probably be able to tell you if they saw this Jersey or if it looks like somehting that would have been at the sale.

As far as the seller I have dealt with him many times in the past with Baseball cards not Game Used. But he was very credible and fast shipping. Nothing misrepresented when I purcahsed or dealt with him.

He calls it a 94 in the item description so I would have to assume a "Fat Finger" typing error. A simple email to the seller would clear that up. I recognize the seller ID and don't recall any issues with him.

I didn't say mis-leading, just that it was mis-listed and I was skeptical, thats all. Not trying to trash his credibility. I wanted to see comments on the tagging, etc. I want to learn more so I, in the future, can answer the questions for myself. No big deal.

maybe the patch was removed ask for a pic of the right sleeve and see if there is an outline where it would of been it was not uncommon for the sox to strip of patches 1990 arm bands for Tony C, 1992 JRY letters, 1994 125 patch not uncommon to see even seen it on 1997 JRY patches shirts were used for the following Spring training. 1999 is when this stopped as you can see spring photos of Carl Everett joined sox 2000 wearing 1999 AS patched jerseys.

that should read JR patch 97 for Jackie Robinson 50th patch sorry for the typo.
