Do college football teams issue photo shoot jerseys?

Do some college football teams issue photo shoot jerseys of one type and game jerseys of another?

For example:

I've seen team photos of the Michigan Wolverines from the early 90's that show them wearing home jerseys with sewn on numbers.

But I've seen game photos of them wearing mesh home jerseys with screened on numbers.
