Just thought I would throw this out there as there might be some pretty cool things people are interested in.

This is the firs Auction Jackson himself is having.

its sucks MJ has to sell off all his personal items. Elvis would not know any of his stuff is missing right now would he ?

I know people have mixed feelings about MJ so I will leave it at that.

It's truly sad to see such a life evaporate right before our eyes.

At his peak.....he was the most popular entertainer in the world.

Then........all that "wierdness". Sad.

Thanks for the heads up on the auction suave.......it will be fun to watch.

When I was in third grade in 1983, MJ was the biggest thing in the world...and in 1984 - even bigger. I decorated a batting glove with my sister's rhinestone applicator (some of you know why).

Remember the zipper jacket? Had one in black AND red.

I'm not sure about all of the accusations, etc. - but if I thought I could afford something from that auction, I'd try for one of his sequined gloves for nostalgia's sake.

I am also an Elvis fan, but all I would want is a pair of his sunglasses - or
maybe some clippings from the shag rug in his bathroom...hmmm...now that I think about it, I'd take a bottle of his half-used Hai Karate or Canoe. Maybe my wife will let me back in our room.

Is it just me or is his collection of video games and kids toys the creepiest thing you have ever seen.

From my personal collection:

I've met Michael 3 times. Once when I was a kid in Florida in 1985. Again, when I worked at Paramount Pictures. And about 5 years ago at a book store 2 blocks from my house. I shook his hand and it was moist and clammy. Dude is weird and smells like a mortuary.

I saw a news story, that the mj auction got cancelled because mj didnt ok the auction house who had his items to sell them. That he bought them all back from them or something like that.I don't know if this is the same auction that's mentioned in this thread. But i guess, instead the auction house,i believe in new york, lenards or something like that is going to just have it as a meseum, cause so many people were coming to look at his items anyway, they figured might as well make money on it.I know this is off topic, but he is doing shows in london,do you think he'll do shows in the states here?Me and my brother saw him in concert during his "BAD" TOUR AND WHAT A CONCERT!!!,man say what you want about him, personally, but the guy is a heck of a entertainer, top #5 concerts i've ever seen.......:)

I see Gotta Have It Collectibles is running the Elvis auction.

Didn't they used to be big in the sports memorabilia business?
