As many of you know, I have been putting together a collection of Kenny Lofton jerseys. I came across one recently that I am just not sure about. It is a Lofton rookie jersey from the Astros. The number and size are consistent with Lofton gamers and the style appears correct. However, Astros jerseys are outside my area of expertise and I know they have a reputation for recycling jerseys, etc. Any insight from the board would be greatly appreciated as I want to avoid making an expensive mistake. Below are some pics for your consideration. Thanks in advance!!!

Only question is, did Lofton wear #28 during his first year in the bigs?

According to Now Batting Number.... both Lofton and Catcher Carl Nichols wore # 28 during the 1991 season. The size is consistent with several of his other gamers which I have seen size 44 and 46 later on in his career.

Nichols appeared in 21 games between April 13th and July 5th.
Lofton was called up and appeared in twenty games between September 14th and October 6th.

Sorry for the back to back posts but here are a couple pics I found. Looks like the collar matches in these pics. I am pretty comfortable the seller bought the jersey directly from the team but trying to get as comfortable as I can that the jersey was actually worn by Lofton. Thanks for all the help.
