I am working on a small collection of matching NY Mets locker room nameplates as a room decoration. This all started when Steiner took over the Mets game used contract in 2006. The style of the nameplates did not change from 2006 to 2007, and I have picked up quite a few since.
I have recently picked up a lot of several plates; included were 2 from the 2008 season (final season at Shea). I actually thought I was buying more 2006s and 2007s but the fact that these 2 were 2008s was a small surprise.
The 2 2008s are: Oliver Perez and Phil Humber. I know that the 2008s are more valuable than those from 2006 and 2007, but what I really would like to do is either swap them for the years I collect or sell them (we'll have to decide upon a fair price) so that I can purchase others.
