Question about Reds jersey

Do any Reds collectors know if the Reds always had year tags on their jersey's ? I have a "gameused", or should I say I hope "gameused" Pete Rose jersey that I purchased from Slater's Americana back in the late 90's, but it doesn't have a year tag.

It's a Rawlings size 40, material seems thicker/stiffer than some retail Cardinals that I have, I've just always thought gamers had year tags. I do have two Cardinals gamers from 1990 that don't have year tags though.

You might want to post pictures and we could help you better-BUT-I can tell you right now I don't think Rose EVER wore a size 40. Sorry.
