ortiz zinger bats

I checked the bat records page, and it wouldn't let me post a thread on this there, but does anyone know if David Ortiz used a zinger bat around 2005 or 2006? I got a lead on one but can't find any info on his using this type of bat. Any ideas???

I've seen numerous around available for sale so I would guess he did.

I watch pretty carefully and have lots of his bats, but have never seen a zinger in a game. Maybe BP or ST. Anything is possible with these guys. They try a diffferent bat now and again, but I estimate that Papi has been a 2 tone Rawlings 34.5 inch guy 90% of the time plus in regular season games since 2004. Occasional appearances by Nakonas and X-Bats last 2 yrs. Occasional LVS.

I agree with Matt, the Zinger was most likely used in BP.
