    BMH: New logo

    Brian,
Did you guys make a new logo for your bats. Because i noticed in Dustin Pedroia's at-bat that the logo looked different. And did you guys put a special stamp or something on the bats for being used in the exhibtition games. Because i also noticed a logo between the center brand and the name brand.

they are putting a 125th anniversy logo on the barrel in between the name and the centerbrand since it is the companys 125th anniversy there was a big story about it on on the local news stations here at home Louisville is about 5 miles from my house so the news stations carried the story showed them burning it on a couple bats

          Brian,
I noticed that Nick Swisher's blonde LVS did not have the 125th anniversy logo. Were players able to ask for bats with-out it or is he using a older bat.

            Re: BMH: New logo

There are several players that have requested us not to put the logo on. The first 125 logo was large. It looked OK on a 34in and above but not so much on a 33.5 and below. We made the logo smaller and have stopped putting it on some players bats.

Yes, we've redesigned the M9 logo. We've basically maxed out the 2x4in space we are allowed by MLB.

              Brian,
Can you post some pictures of the different logo and markings you used so far this year.

Here's Russell Martin with the new 125th anniversary bat. I really like the design of the new logo, looking to add a Red Sox bat with the 125th anniversary logo to my collection.

My dad and i were talking about the new logo and we were thinking could it affect hitting the ball or would it do nothing. Maybe the ball would come off the logo different or something. I'm guessing not because they have the Maple and TPX brand on the back. What are your guys opinions.
