For anyone collecting Nationals, I have a few great game used Nationals jerseys for anyone who is interested. I have Jose' Vidro, Ryan Church, Livan Hernandez, Jose Guillen and Chad Cordero left. They all have 2005 Flag Tags with Set Tags with the exception of the Cordero which has custom alterations.

I also have some Guillen, Vidro, Brian Schneider, and Ryan Zimmerman game used items.

I have a 1937-38 team signed Redskins Slammin Sammy Baugh football in my collection but am not looking to sell it at this point. However, you at least know where it is. It is signed by the team and was given to the "water boy" on Thanksgiving Day in 1938 as a thank you. The ball was in Canton from 1970-77 on consignment. Along with the ball--I was able to also get 3 1938 programs--ticket stubs from the season --an original 8X10 B/W photo of the defense (I think) and on hotel stationary--an autographed roster and after each player signed it--they put the college they attended. There are also Canton consignment papers and newspaper articles on the gentleman who was the ball boy for the team. At the time, his father ran a tire store and the players brought their cars in for replacements.

It's quite a nice assortment of items--I wrote to the owner of the Redskins thinking he might be interested in having all of this--but never heard back. I originally paid $2500.00 for everything several years ago. At the time, it might have been too much but I knew it was a one of a kind and being in Canton at the HOf for several years with paper work to go with it--I couldn't resist.

Signatures are still great. One of the players was an artist and drew the word Redskins on the ball as well before they all signed it. I had several great days spending time with the gentleman who would tell me many stories about the team. Unfortunately, he passed away last winter.

The only drawback to the ball itself, is that it needs the bladder replaced so it will hold air for more than a couple days at a time and I have not done anything towards solving this until I find someone who I can trust to do this type of work and will not ruin the signatures which are on the ball.

I thought Daniel Snider might be interested but I never heard back from anyone when I tried to contact him about the ball. Other than that, I have never looked to sell it and am only the second owner. Thanks.
