does rawlings make their bats or does someone else make them? i would like to get some made.

Yes, Rawlings makes their own bats at their factory in New York.

I live about 40 minutes from there facory if it's the one up in Dolgeville.

I visited Busch Stadium in 1999 and Rawlings had a truck set up outside the stadium giving a bat making demo. It was so cool watching the craftsman working the lathe.

When he finished, he presented a Mark McGwire hand made bat!!!

who is the contact at rawlings that i can speak with to get some bats made? i called rawlings and the guy refered me to an outlet store in orlando to get bats made. the pros don't go to outlet stores for bats!
i am sure the grade of the wood is inferior as well.

they sell the standard run of the mill bats. i want a model 129, which is not available at stores.
