Read an article from one of the Washington papers over the weekend citing all the problems that Nats have had from uniforms to this to that. It was a hole page. Pretty embarrasing. Here's to hoping they get it together soon...

They are going to have fun when they start mixing up Ryan and Jordan's jerseys too.

The word I got back was the "error" jerseys were shipped back to Majestic.

Too bad as they would have been good collectibles.

That will never happen. They play in Washington DC and will get a bailout before they go under:D

Majestic issued an apology on the Natinals jersey problem.

I found out why just Zimmerman, Dunn and Dukes were the only ones wearing the ERROR jerseys.

After Opening Day, 3 jerseys were hologram'd. Guess whose jerseys?

You got it!!!

Hologram number BB942814 was located in the MLB Authentication Database under GAME-USED JERSEY.
Session Product Description:

Session Name: PHI AT WSH
Session Date: April 13, 2009
Autographer:
Authenticator: AUTHENTICATORS, INC.
Additional Information: R. ZIMMERMAN #11

Check hologram #'s BB942814, BB942813, BB942812

My theory continues. So they crack open a new box of the Set 2 jerseys and pull out only 3, and they were the NATINALS! My guess is, the whole box had the errors.

The word I got was the Natinals jerseys were all sent back to Majestic.
Well, last night at the Dream Foundation Gala, the final auction item was Adam Dunn's Natinals jersey.

It sold for $8,500!!!! No MLB Hologram. LOL I was ready to bid $2,000:(

Amazing and ridiculous all at same time. Like you said, no MLB holo, buyer has a overpriced error that they will never recoup their investment on...

Dunn's stuff, when it pops up, jerseys in particular never top $500. I did see his Diamondbacks uni's on MLB hit about $580 total. Far cry from what this thing went for... Can you say, "Buyer's Remorse?"

I would guess this isn't a collector who is worried about value, but more of a big shot who is spending for enjoyment or charity. In the collecting world there would be buyers remorse, but just by looking at that price I doubt we are talking about your regular everyday collector. Would be a pretty cool pick up with a story to go with it.
