Question On A 2000 Brian Urlacher Tail Tag

I have the chance to pic this jersey up and I am concerned about the tail tag.

I cannot ever remember the Bears having 'Pro Line Authentics' on that 2000 tag........I thought it was just the Nike Team, Size, & NFL Shield.

I attached a pic of the one that I am looking at as well as a pic of what I thought they looked like from that year.

Any one have any thoughts as to which is the correct tag for the 2000 Chicago Bears?

The Proline Tag is not the correct tag it should be the other one.

The 2nd tag that I have pictured is from a Pittsburg Steelers 2000 gamer. I guess my train of thought would be, just like the current Reebok Tags, I would think that all Nike manufactured jerseys from 2000 would share the same tag, regardless of the team. All of the modern day Reebok tags are all the same on every jersey.....why not a 2000 Nike jersey.

Because of the Pro Line tag, I suspect this may have been a blank, customized with Urlachers info, or a stadium authentic/pro cut. It is the right cut, the numbers and Nike identifiers all match up, it has the coorect size tag in the collar, ITS JUST THAT TAIL TAG.........

Does anyone have a Bears 2000 gamer to compare this to?

I was hoping nobody I knew was gonna fall for that jersey. Matt, next time just email me and save yourself the guesswork.
          Bottom line is it's a '98-'99 season blank that's been re-attributed.

The number font is wrong, the tag is wrong and the cut and length of the jersey is wrong. Early Urlachers all had extra length....usually 4" to 6".

          Here are examples of tagging.........

My suspicions confirmed. I think I'll pass on this one.

Thanks for all your help. IOU-1..........

I have a signed Romo Jersey with that tag i had got from a brian griese auction, I was always wondering what year it was from. This jersey has no size anywhere on it no neck tag nothing. Good thread.
