Can anyone tell me if the signature is good? I'm having a hard time focusing on it.....

Do these type of sales tactics increase bids? Even if its Jessica Alba in the photo, you're only getting the jersey.

I have dealt with that seller before, not a direct purchase but using him for a signing for a Roman Gabriel helmet he sponsored. He went beyond the call of duty, good communication, provided video of the signing, etc. Not sure about the girl being in all the pics, kind of a low budget AMI type thing, a tad cheesy, but I reckon he feels it works.

I do believe he's legit.

You'd better pick-it up either way, 'cause it's my understanding that the Frig ain't doing so well.

As the late, great Chick Hearn said:

"The game's is in the refrigerator, the light's are out, the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard, and the jello is jigglin'."

One caution, that particular seller I've noticed purchases very cheap, low quality knockoff jerseys for his signings. I'm pretty picky and would look for a better quality one signed by the Fridge myself.

Again, I do feel he's a good seller, just don't care for the quality of the jerseys he sells.

Another seller I've used for helmet signings that goes far beyond the call, and a much better looking jersey, and there were several other nice ones easily picked up by an ebay search.

I've heard his signature has changed somewhat over the past couple years, which is why I ask. Plus the hottie next to the jersey keeps breaking my concentration :D

He has changed his signature due to the fact that he is confined to a wheelchair and he is not stable.

Here is a sample of an autograph I obtained from him at The Chicago Sun-Times Show last month.

Damn, he must be VERY ill. Al Davis can do better than that.

I was with him and other former 1985 Chicago Bears at a cocktail party the night before and at the show the next day. The Fridge had shrunk to just a fraction of his old playing days weight.

I left the show during the 2nd batch of Bears players signing autographs (they did about 30-40 guys in two batches) and The Fridge was still singing from the first session. He didn't look well and many of the players were depressed to see his condition.

The local ESPN radio affiliate reported today that The Fridge has been upgraded to fair condition.
