I Need Some Rawlings Big Stick Help!

I just got my first Rawlings Big Stick bat so I need some help deciphering the information on it. I have searched the threads and have came up empty. Anyways here is what the knob says:stamped says M2 88 BB under that it says 457 06. The players number 10 is written in sharpie and then also written in sharpie is FJP 44. The player is Kelly Shoppach for those who are curious. Any help would be greatly apprecciated. Thanks in advance.

457 06 is the batch number (457) and the year made (06)
      the M is for MAPLE

I might be wrong here- but 288BB might be the model number.

The first set of Letters and Numbers is the Model Number.

          M2 88 BB

The 457 is the Batch Number. A Batch is a group of bats that were in the same order received at Rawlings. This batch can include many different players. If I remember correctly it is players from the same team?

The 06 is the Year Code.

Usually a Rawlings employee will write the players name and the bats weight in ounces and use blue or black ink.

Not sure about the FJP 44 is for. Could this be the players initials? Or a family members initials?????
          Thank you,
          David
