Harvey Haddix Jersey in Historic Auctions

Would be interested in thoughts on this jersey. From what I have been able to ascertain, Haddix did not coach the Pirates during the 1991 season. Also, while he was a coach for them in the early 1980's, he wore #31. Finally, during the 1991 season, John Wehner wore #52.

While it's POSSIBLE that he may have been an extra coach in the spring (as he did serve as a Major League Pirates coach for many years), I'm still leery. That 91 year tag is unlike anything I've EVER seen on a verifiable Rawlings jersey.

Apparently your 'questions' on the jersey have upset someone at Historic.

I clicked your link and this is what I rcvd (with the Historic Logo above it):

Chris - They have been doing this for a long time now.

I guess they figure if the link comes from this web site it is looking for trouble. Then again, I once tried to get this auction company to be friendly with the Game Used Forum's group and they decided they rather just not deal with any of us instead of answering genuine questions.
