I can't produce photos, but I have a 2008 LS S345 Joel Skinner fungo bat with his signature and the team name on the barrel. It was one of three bats I got from Indians players and coaches last year on September 27 (my 50th Birthday). It made for one helluva fun birthday...now I'm glad my wife didn't plan a surprise party for me!

Did you just win that at auction in the last year or so? I think you outbid me on it.

                  Ken,

I've had mine for 6-7 years, but I do remember seeing one on Ebay a while back.

Thank you for the info and pictures? Sounds like most are found via auction, anyone find them from the team at the stadium or fan fest? My current grail hunt is for an Ed Sedar fungo.

                          Re: Fungo Bats

I got the Yount bat from a clubhouse guy in Tucson.

I have a friend who has a Bob Melvin DBacks fungo right now that he's trying to sell for someone who got it from "a team source". He put it on eBay the other day with a beginning bid of $100, and (of course) there were no bids, so I'm waiting for him to either relist it or sell it to me outright.

No photos available. However, I do have a signature model LS fungo bat of Bob Rodgers from the Expos, and also a Preston Gomez block letter fungo bat that I believe is a Worth.

Any player or coach identified fungo bat is certainly not common.

That Yount from the DiamondBacks is a classic!
