Hi All- This is not my area, as I collect older stuff, but curious what people think of this lot.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8802200535&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Do you think it went Low, High or just about right and why?

There's really not much to go on there. No good pictures or descriptions. Hard to tell.

What more of a description do you need it says exactly what it is and can I say WOW WOW WOW WOW.

If everything is real / authentic - what it sold for is an unbelievable steal. WOW WOW WOW

Now you want a reason why I say that? Again if everything is real I would definitely say that lot is worth 3 - 4 times what it sold for!!!!

If the memorabilia is legitimately autographed (hard to tell from description which was too long anyway) and can pass PSA/DNA authentication as no mentions of any autograph authenticity verification comes with the item, then $4000.00 was a reasonable price.

Now, you have to live by the guy and pick it up, otherwise shipping will add an extra $1500.00 or so to your price. Then PSA/DNA fees so you can sell the items.

I don't know why they just wouldn't consign individual items to a major auction house and let them do all their dirty work.

I just saw their Q&A part below the description...

I guess the items mainly came from Home Shopping Network and American Memorabilia.

I think at the final ending price, the seller lost big!

DAM I wish I knew about this Lot sooner I would have squandered up some money from somewhere to bid on this auction!!!!!

That is definitely a foolish way to sell a collection!

Still looks like junk to me. But, that's the beauty of the collecting world.

I guess I just like the old stuff and most of what's here is mass produced, auto'd HSN items. Not my bag, that's all. Some people collect that stuff but to me it's just heavier cards and I don't collect cards. I'm not trying to be smug but I prefer older authentic items.
