Friends,

Today, a friend wanted me to see his Darrell Evans Bat that was signed in WHITE PAINTPEN ( yes I shook my head hearing that). I agreed to look at it for him, and when I did, I was shocked.............. The White Painpen that was a sloppy signature was actually...........WHITE OUT, that you use to correct typing errors and it was painted on in layers!

The bat is a black LV slugger and he wants badly to remove the Whiteout and not ruin the bat. Any good suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Den:)

Den,

I would take a damp towel or sponge and gently wipe it several times to see if it gets the white-out off. I believe this will work and that it will be safter than trying to chip it off. It certainly should not harm the black paint to do this. How did he sign his name in white-out? With the little brush attached to the cap?!?! That is a weird one. Best of luck,

Reid

It looked to my eyes as if he painted his name on, and belive me, its a mess. Dip the brush and do a stroke and then dip and do another.

Thanks,

Den
