this a very nice bat. according to the records, he ordered only 4 in 1981, which was his last year with the dodgers and they also won the world series. model L139, uncracked, minor deadwood on back of barrel. #15 on knob scribbled out and "fimp" written in. this will look great in someone's dodgers' collection. $165 shipped. oldz70@yahoo.com.

Jack Fimple was a Dodgers catcher for a few seasons starting in 1983. He came to the Dodgers in December of 1981.
Lopes was traded from the Dodgers in February 1982. What happened more than likely, is that Fimple found a used Lopes bat kicking around during Spring Training in 1982 and used it...just a guess though as it was probably used by both players.Comment
