Do all 2004 St. Louis Rams GW Jerseys have to have Prova Group/Wetrak tagging?

I am looking to pick up a 2004 Rams gamer but it doesn't include any Prova Group/Wetrak tagging which I'm told is common for most Rams jerseys of this era.

Did all of the 2004 Rams jerseys have this tagging or is it possible that the jersey is legit without it so long as everything else checks out?

I have seen legit Rams jerseys in the past that were not WeTrak/Prova tagged. I don't recall if they were from 04 or not but from what I have seen there have been incosistencies with that system. What kind of wear is on the jersey? That should be able to tell you a lot.
