Check This Out - Alex Rodriguez Game Used #15 HR Bat & Ball vs. Yankees

Odd. Isn't that a question mark after 97?

    Regards, Tony

Certainly looks like it, but I dont know why it would be there. Exact date was 7/26/97 if anyone cares.

Doesn't really come off to me as a question mark.

Looks more like he added a period (.) between the numbers and tried to add a ('97) but messed up and put it in the wrong location (97')

          I agree.

Mark McGwire used to do the same thing when adding a "98" on some inscribed items......sometimes, he would write it as (98').

I have one of his game used jerseys from 1998, and he signed it that way.

I will be posting the final results of my research on the bat next week. I'm waiting for one final piece to be completed before I provide all facts.

this was his 15th of the season and 56th homer of the week. seems consistent with the way arod inscribes his bat which is by the number for the particular year.
