There's a nice rare 69 WS Ed Kranepool on ebay now. Note the markings on the barrel "World Series - 1969". I've been informed by an collector of 69 WS bats that this bat was one Kranepool had made up as the real game bats had "1969 - World Series" stamped on the barrel. ( see the photo of a Bobby Pfiel game bat i once owned).
Does anyone know (BMH perhaps) whether these extra non gamers bats were made of the same quality of wood, exact specs to the game bats produced for the series?
