Super heavyweight zip-front, wool flannel. "White Caps" and number "15" sewn in navy felt. "SL" sewn on sleeve in navy. Made by MacGregor Goldsmith. "Set 1, 1950" flag tag sewn inside tail.
Here is a partial list of teams with White Caps mascot:
WHITECAPS - West Michigan (Midwest Lg), Brewster (Cape Cod Lg), Galveston Coll. TX, Galveston (Big State Lg), Michigan City (Midwest Lg), Peterborough (Canadian Lg), West Haven (Eastern Lg)

I have only seen a MacGregor year tag on MLB, minor league or major college jerseys.
Any clue? What could "SL" stand for?

Thanks in advance!
