1993 Yankees tagging

Can someone please tell me what the tagging on a 1993 Yankees jersey is supposed to look like? Year? Year and Name? etcetc.

Pictures would be great.

Hi Rudy - I am not an expert here, but I am pretty sure in 1993, the Yankees would have worn Russell Jerseys - no "R" on the sleeve and the name tagging was sewn in below the Russell Tag in the tail. The white name plate tag would have the player name and year such as this - "MATTINGLY 93" - there would also be a small 100% polyster tag sewn in below or to the side of the name plate tag. In the early to mid 90's with the Russell jerseys, I have seen variations on the name plate tag where the year was fully stamped, such as 1993, but have also seen 93. Hope that helps. Good luck!
