Both of the autographs below are forgeries.

The SCAA certificates that vouch for the authenticity of these autographs are from Wayne Bray, one of the members of the Marino forgery ring.

These certificates are banned on eBay, and eBay has been informed.

These signatures didn't just get authenticated, they got a "cursory review". And the COA offers the "opinion" that they are authentic, based on the fact that they fall within the parameters of their established exemplars.

We can now all call ourselves authenticators!

Just a friendly fellow-forum suggestion/reminder.....


When posting a thread like this one, it might be a good idea to cut and paste the pictures of the items on ebay you are referring to, because if you don't, and ebay shuts down the auction because what you are stating is true (in this case, proven forgeries by a source known for them), it becomes impossible to view them after the fact. And in this particular case, ebay shut them down FAST.
