Not an expert, but it looks ok. Not sure why the tape was taken off the blade before he signed it either.

Visit gameworn.net or gamewornjerseys.com for specific hockey people that would know more. I see one Yzerman recently for sale on one of the forums for $400 so I would no way pay near what they are asking. Also try Hockeytown Authentics right at the Joe for game used right from the team.

Thank you very much! I was guessing the tape was partially removed to get the signature on the blade itself, as the tape will eventually wilt away and the signatures life would be limited.
