It's on Ebay and im interested in it, just want to know what you guys think about the bat and the COA. Looks good to me, but would be nice to get like 10 other opinions. Item description says this:


KEN GRIFFEY JR GAME USED AUTOGRAPHED HOME RUN BAT<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 22pt">.

ahh... the whole description didnt post. but this is basically what it said:

This is the bat Griffey used to hit his 14th homerun of the '98 season, and number 308 of his career. The bat is cupped and has Griffey's criss-cross taping on the handle. the bat has a hairline crack that is barely visible when displayed. no raised wood or wood missing. The certificate is from unique sports which has handled Griffey's game used gear in the late 1990's.

Tape job on the handle is perfect and matches my Griffey bat. Looks good to me.

AWA - how do you feel about the COA? Whats the deal with Unique Sports? I cant find any info of them online.

The signature on the bat looks legit to me; harder to tell on the COA but nothing is jumping out as a red flag.

Unique Sports was Griffey's business and you can see Griffey signs his name on the COA. Also the seller on ebay has many griffey items now and in the past. I see no problems.

murfsteve25 as a senior member i would think you would know better and post in the auction discussion section. fyi, there was a post by a new member with his very first post ever yesterday in this section and it was deleted.

thanks for all of the responses, sounds like Unique Sports is the way to go when it comes to earlier Griffey gamers.
