Cal Ripken game used 93 All Star bat

This discussion was started below under the batting records forum. Please see that discussion for additional comments. Orioles and Ripken experts, I am looking for photos from the 93 All Star game played at Camden Yards that would verify that this bat might have been used there as labeled. With the distinctive MLB logo it should stick out like a sore thumb. If anybody has any additional comments to add on whether this could or could not be a game used all star bat please make it happen.

This Cal Ripken bat was used during the 1993 All Star game in Baltimore. After the game, it was given to an employee of the Major League Baseball licensing department. At the time, the department was experimenting with putting the MLB logo on the players equipment, including bats, hats and jerseys. This logo was placed on this bat as part of that process. The log now appears on all MLB equipment that is licensed by Major League Baseball. Bat shows some light use, is just shy of 35 inches long and weighs 31.4 ounces. Highly uncommon and desirable Ripken bat. If anyone also has any input on the Ripken F149 bat also in the posting below please share as I am looking for help on whether or not these bats are game used authentic or not.

    Thanks

Hi Brett-- Check out my recent (two minutes ago) post on the Shipping Records Forum. Hope it helps, even though it is by no means definitive.
