McGwire GU Jersey Tag Question? Real or Fake?

debating on whether to purchase this mcgwire jersey. 91' gamer.

Here is the tag, If it does not have the Extra 2inch " attached does that mean it's not legit?? Also it is a size 50. I know a member here just aquired a 89 gamer that was a size 48. So a size up from age 26 to age 28 could be normal. Any help with this jersey is much appreciated. Does anybody have any pictures of a legit 91' mcgwire gamer?

Here is the info that I found out about 1991 jerseys. I have seen a few 1991 Mac's. One guy on ebay told me when I questioned him about the shirt that Mac's agent at the time had a bunch of these made up for him to sign that all had Set 1 1991 tags on them. From what info I know, Mac always had 2" extra length on every jersey he wore for the A's. I beleive he wore a 48 in the late 80's but when he went up to size 50 is debatable. I think he went up to 50 in the 90's but I've hear different years. I'm not certain. He might have been in 1991 and went back down to 48 in the mid 90's like 92-94 then back up again. Like I said its debatable, becasue I've seen tons of 93 and 94 Mac's that are size 48 but they all have crisp numbers and frayed tags, and 93 and 94 were his injuries years so I doubt that he had that many jerseys when he only played a handful of games. There sure is a surplus of those years on the market. Based on that info I provided from what I've learned, I hope you can come to your own conclusions.
