Came across this bat earlier. No luck finding photos of manny using a stix. Any one have any knowledge of what bats manny used during 97-98? Or thoughts on this bat at all?

It was discussed some in the items wanted section by a couple of us. My personal take is the Stix model is definitely something Manny swung in that time period but the combination of the tape job and the fact that the other bat being sold is a Nokona (which Manny never swung) is enough of a warning sign to pass. There are pics of Manny swinging a bat with criss-cross tape (2 are shown in that thread I mention) but if it's not on a Stix model bat then I'm not going for it.

I think if you went for it you'd be happy on the surface but then start to wonder over time...

i have no interest in buying or selling the manny ramirez stix bat.

with that being said, i would bet a lot of money the stix bat was at least in the indians clubhouse.
