Can anyone tell from these crappy photos it is a real one?

Thanks!

Hi--

Here'e the info you are looking for:

The D113 bat was made between 1980 and 1985. It is difficult to tell from the pictures, but measure the center label oval. If it is approximately 4 1/2 inches side to side, then it is 1980-1983 period. If it is smaller than that, approximately 3 3/4 inches side to side, then date it at 1983-1985. My guess, by seeing the positioning of the word powerized, is that it is the larger label and dates to 1980-1983. During that period (specifically between 1/25/80 and 2/9/83) Lynn's H & B model of choice was D113, both with rounded end and cupped end. Every pro model D113 shipped to him was 34 inches in length and weighed either 31 or 32 ounces. Most had a natural finish. and he often requested wide grained wood. If the D113 bat pictured meets the length specification above, and shows evidence of game use as appears in the photo, it matches Lynn's factory records and was likely shipped to him for his professional use. Make sure there is no number on the knob that would indicate a retail model bat.

The K55 bat was manufactured during the 1986-1989 label period. Make sure there is no number on the knob or a line under the 125 in the center label (not clear from the photo) that would indicate a retail model or promo bat. There is no documentation in Lynn's factory records that he ordered any Model K55 bats for his professional use during that period, or at any time during his entire career. Several Lynn K55 bats were sent to "Baseball Miscellaneous" in lengths of 34 inches and 35 inches with no weight designated, likely for promotional use. Lynn himself has said that he didn't use H & B bats during the end of his career, and no records exist that show any orders to H & B from him after June, 1985. The bat in the photo may well be an Oriole or Tiger team index bat, ordered by the team and available for use by any Major or Minor League player during Spring training or the regular season.

Good Luck in future collecting.
