I recently picked up a Patriots Larry Wigham Presentation ball from 1997 with some lettering moved off it's original spot. I was able to get in contact with the people who originally painted the ball and they were happy to fix it. After they received it I got an email that said, "since the ball no longer holds air would I like to try and get a new one from the team and have it painted up like the old one", naturally I said no. It did make me wonder, though, how much care is taken by theses companies to ensure the correct ball is painted for the player who earned it?
