Geoff Blum bat for over $300?

What am I missing about ebay item # 270426221782? It's a Geoff Blum game used bat and is currently at $310 with 7 bids. Is it because he only spent a little while with the White Sox, and it happened to be the year they won the WS (for people trying to get a bat from every 2005 White Sox)? Still seems kind of high....

The bat is rare and many people are trying to complete their collection of 2005 World Series player bats.

Chicagoglen bought it. Maybe he'll put his other Blum bat up for sale.

Liz hit the nail on the head...Blum was only with the Sox for a couple of months...finding a bat of his from that time either marked with the Sox team ID or with no team ID is the holy grail of those working on the 2005 World Champs team set of position players.
