    Was just wondering

Has anyone has gotten an autograph from a player who refused to to inscribe/personalize it at one event and then at a future event got that player to inscribe/personalize.

How did they react to being asked just to inscribe/personalize it?

A bit off-topic: I asked David Justice to inscribe ROY 1990 and he refused. He laughed actually and said he has refused to do it his entire career. He also said that he has not even inscribed a ball like that himself.

A number of years ago I asked Steve Stone to sign an Orioles souvenir helmet for a charity auction, which he did. However, I also asked him to add a 1980 Cy Young inscription. He declined, telling me "You can do the rest yourself". And this was from a guy I've had good relations with ojn both sides of town since the 1970s!

Has anyone had to have the same player do an inscription/personalize it, after they refused to do it the first time - at another autograph signing???
