Rangers foundation bat sale

The Rangers foundation is having a bat sale Saturday August 8th from 9 to noon at the Ballpark near the center field gift shop. The bats will range from $50 to $350. I spoke to Norm and he said they had several Hamilton's, Kinsler's. and a number of other players, but no Michael Young.

good contact hitters tend to not break as many bats.

Young told me that Murphy convinced him to switch to the B45 because it almost never cracked. Maybe in addition to being a good contact hitter Murphy was right.

ive noticed a few more guys swinging b45's this year as well. pretty sure i saw andruww jones swinging one the other day.

i picked my young bat up on opening day. only saw very few all of last year.

I don't know why Michael Young B45 bats are so hard to come by. The stores at the Ballpark have Hamilton, Kinsler and about everybody else. I have only seen one Young B45 this year (And I got it) Murphy convinced Young to switch to the B45 because he told him they don't break often. Whether its good contact hitting or the bats don't break the stores don't have Young bats and Norn said the Foundation doesn't have any at this time for its up coming bat sale despite having about everybody else.
