    Longshot...Billy Chapel Jersey?

Anyone happen to have or know where I could locate a jersey from the Movie "For Love of the Game?"

Maybe some of you Tigers fans might know. Would love a #14 Chapel Tigers jersey.

FUNNY. Was just watching this one last night and thought about the possibility of Yanks or Tigers jerseys used for that movie that have made it into the secondary market.

If you find one, PLEASE post it Tom...good luck.

Generally when these screen-worn jerseys make it onto the market, it is pretty obvious that they are not gamers, as they are (more often than not) made by the wrong manufacturer and do not have the right tagging (strip, set, etc.) As a matter of instance, AIS/Sportsrobe seems to have cornered the market on screen worn jerseys.

Here is a list of 83 movies that the company did uniforms for:

At opne point, I owned a full screen worn uniform from Major League II and several other AIS screen-worn jerseys. All gone now!

Wasn't used in the movie though and is signed by Costner.

I believe I saw something - I don't think it was a jersey, it was an undershirt, or something like that - from Billy's catcher up for auction a while back, but that's the only thing to come out of that movie that I've seen.

How would you like to have that baseball that Billy inscribes and sends up to the GM? I'd be willing to bet that Sam Raimi has that item on a shelf somewhere.

Not a Chapel Jersey, but a bat from the movie.

            Thought you might be interested.

Billy Chapel was the first Tiger to sport #14 after another Billy wore it:
