Any thoughts on the bat?

This bat is a pre-rookie bat as indicated by the Louisiville Slugger under Timo's block letter name. The I13 is the correct model number. I have this same exact Timo rookie bat which I received after the 2000 season

On thing which I think is lacking is the taped handle (criss-cross tape) which he used on almost all of his bats during the 2000 season.

Starting in 2001 Timo started using bats with were stamped NEW YORK METS.

Thanks for letting me know. I was looking for one of his bats that was used during the 2004-05 season and wasnt sure if this was one of them.

HB started stamping team names on the bat barrels for MLB teams in 1991. A White Sox HB Timo bat would be easy to identify from 2004-2005.

Good luck with your search.

Liz:

With the team name stamping that H&B/LS began using in 1991, any bat he ordered as a member of the White Sox would have CHICAGO WHITE SOX engraved under his name/signature. The only other thing would be to check the knob for a uniform number, in the unlikely but possible occurrence that a 2005 ordered bat was used after he left the team (making sure the number on the knob and/or barrel is his White Sox number).
