Jalen Rose University of Michigan navy blue uniform

Hello to all forum members. I have a uniform in my personal collection, and I'm not sure whether it's game worn, game issued or neither. It's a Jalen Rose University of Michigan uniform, made by Russell. I've had it for a few years now, and it was a gift from one of my clients. I certainly don't have any "certificate of authenticity" to go with it.

The cut of the R and S in ROSE is different from the game photo.

PLUS, Michigan worn russell uniform from 1991-1993, they doesnt wear russell logo "R" on their shorts , so i must think your uniforms are SAMPLE and added ROSE on back as other mentioned that the ROSE is in different font

u culd list it on ebay and shuld get good $$ out of it

Another note on your Rose piece.

I just watched Beyond the Glory on the Fab Five on Fox Sports Net...You should check it out. If you watch it closely you might be able to get the clues you need to determine the authenticity of your jersey...I was on the treadmill while watching it so I couldn't pay as much attention as I would have like to...BUT

I did see enough to know that Michigan did sport Russell Athletic jerseys for the 1993 Championship game in the Big Easy against Carolina...I can't verify the shorts, however.

Also, there were inconsistancies in the style of letters used on their uniforms from year to year...but the shot I saw towards the end of the program depicting larger skinnier letters may have been after CWebb left...and may have even been after Juwan and Jalen were gone.

Anyway, just something I thought you might want to check out (I know when it first aired they had it available to view online...but I'm not sure that's still the case).
