here is a 1976 rick manning bat, that was used by duane kuiper. i realize this is not a hank aaron/eddie mathews bat but we didn't have much as indians fans in the 70's. it is cool to have two fan favorites using the same bat.

i would like to say thank you chris for doing a quick number check for me on-line. i ran across the bat but knew manning wore 20 & 28. the bat had the number 18 on the ends which was kuiper. i just had to double check the math so to speak. so i went over to the guu booth and they kindly looked up the records for me.

i love this hobby

Nice bat. Was manning the one who stole Eck's wife? Or he swapped wives with a teammate, or something crazy like that? Only the Tribe!

yes, manning stole eckersley wife. manning was on the dl. the wife/kids swap was fritz peterson and mike kekich who were both indians at one time but not the same time. they were members of the yankees when it happened.

Anytime you want to show off or talk about H&B Bicentennial bats, that excellent by me.

dave, the only other one i have is a buddy bell. i guess i just missed a ron pruitt 1976 bat that a dealer sold at the national by an hour or two. i grew up on the mid-late 70's indians.
