    On a layover in Boston.....

I get off the plane, and right between gates 34 & 36 there is a statue of Yaz. Naturally, I look at the bat and it looks to be a game used h&b locked in his hands.... Anyways, it made my day I think the model number was c243
If you're ever stuck in the Boston airport, check it out. I'll try to attach pictures from this phone, but if it dosent work, I'll do it later

I went to a year of school outside of Boston. Never seen this statue though. I look forward to seeing pics.

    Thanks for sharing.

Was it a wood statue? I have a mini bat hand carved by Armand LaMontagne made from a piece of Basswood used to sculpt a Statue of Carl Yastremski in 1990. It is also autographed by Yaz. I wonder if it is the same statue.

Alright, just got home, here are the pictures. The pictures aren't so great, the statue isn't quite life size, and the bat is wood, with markings deeply burnt and the model number on the knob was C243 with the number 8 written over it in sharpie.
