I finally got around to reading Simmons' articles on the National. After looking at antique gloves, he said MLB throwback games should have the players use period equipment not just jerseys. In particular, he wanted to see players fielding with 1920s or 1940s gloves. I think it would a great idea. I'd tune in.

I'd definitely watch, and would love to see something like this, but for the player's I'm guessing they're completely against it. Just think about it....all these players having to use equipment that some haven't even seen before. You'll see errors occuring left and right and final scores of 38-24 :D
