Current offering in the Grey Flannel auction, "Michael Jordan 1994 Scorpions worn jacket". Based upon the item description and photos, how can this be attributed to Jordan? Is there something I'm missing? There is no identification of either a uniform number or name written or sewn in/on the jacket. Likewise, there is no team or supporting LOA (other than the generic LOA that GF writes for all auction items). This information has been forwarded to GF, seeking additional insight and answers.

Lot #184: 1994 Michael Jordan Scottsdale Scorpions Worn Jacket

Michael Jordan began his professional baseball career in 1994 as a member of the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League. In the back collar of the jacket is the “Holloway” manufacturers tag. Attached is the size “XXL” flag tag. On the front left breast is the “Scottsdale Scorpions” in black, white and red embroidery. Across the back is “Scottsdale Scorpions” in black and white embroidery. On the right sleeve is the “Arizona Fall League” logo in teal, red, black and white embroidery. The jacket shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.

Howard...

I would sure think that there has to be something that can attribute this directly to Jordan...something has to be there to seperate this from something one could buy in the team gift shop

Maybe there was a typo in the description somwehere?

Have you asked GF about this?

Lund-

Great questions.

Based upon the auction description, no mention is noted about a team LOA, player LOA, or specific indentification in the jacket that attributes this specificaly to Jordan (or for that matter, any player) or the 1994 season.

How is this jacket any different from those worn by other players, staff or even those sold in the Scorpions team shop to fans?

No reply has been received to my email sent to Grey Flannel over the weekend seeking answers to the above.

Can any Forum reader possibly add to this thread and provide insight?
