Met El Duque in Miami Yesterday

Hi Everyone,
Today Sept. 7 is my B-Day and yesterday I got the best gift of all. I met Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez in a exibition game of ex-Cuban ball players in Miami. Took a photo with him and got him to sign a game used bat of his from his days with the Mets. Great experience.

Thank's Scott. One of my Yankee favorites too. The game used bat was actually used in a game against the Marlins that I attended. Told him the story and he was amused. Super nice guy. Working on getting photos to photomatch the bat to that date.

He is a very cool guy. I met him on several occasions.

I have a Game Used bat of his while he played with the Yankees.

It is a Posada model and has "Duke" and his number on the knob.

I showed it to him and he was amazed.

He told me himself he loved using Posadas bats because Posada always got the best wood.

Happy Birthday!!!!!! To US! I am also born on September 7th. Had the big 35 this year. Plus, I love El Duque! That 2005 Post season performance against Boston was amazing.
