Any chance this is a Texas Longhorn's game used helmet?

Found it in a second hand store today. I have never owned a football helmet before and know nothing about them.

This one looks and feels pro quality - heavy, BIKE lid with full padding etc.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Texas never wore black helmets. I'm no helmet expert, but I would think it was a junior league of high school helmet.
