I believe this to be a red sox jacket worn by Ted Williams during the latter portion of his career. Any thoughts?

Re: Ted Williams Jacket
Made well after Ted Williams' playing days. Could have used as a Spring training instructor. Mid 60 to early 70s Rawlings tags. He was with the Senators in the late 60s....so I doubt he was helping the Sox at that time.
Where did you get the jacket? -
Re: Ted Williams Jacket
Also, the Rawlings tag looks resewn, and the material of the jacket looks like a mid 80s cotton twill. So I'll guess that this jacket is a crude forgery. The chain-stiched "T Williams" is suspect. Am I right?Comment

Re: Ted Williams Jacket
I'm also a bit suspicious based upon the size (46), as, during his stint with Washington/Texas, He was taking 48/50 on his jerseys. This is a jacket, which, by virtue of being an outer garment worn over the jersey, would need to be the same size or one size bigger, not smaller.
