I'm interested in purchasing the 1994 Tigers Milt Cuyler jersey
shown below.
Everything on it looks good, except for the "R" in Cuyler on the back.
I know it sounds odd to be concerned about only 1 letter but I don't
understand why a discrepancy exists. More specifically, look at the
amount of white space in the area inside the "R" on the Cuyler jersey
and compare it to the "R"'s in the Trammel and Fryman jerseys below.
Don't the "R's" look very different? In 1994 it seems the Tigers used
both a regular font and a condensed version. (See the Tettleton
jersey for an example of the condensed version). Could the Cuyler
have a regular font for the first 5 letters and a condensed "R" ?
Does this make any sense? Why is there such a difference in
the "R"'s on the Cuyler jersey compared to the Fryman and Trammel jerseys?
