im interested in bidding on the jersey but wanted your take on it before I bid Is it legit? any help would be appreciated.

Everything that is discernable in the pictures seems OK. Schalk's stint with the White Sox was owed to WW2. He played a few games with the 1932 Yankees, and then disappeared from the Majors until 1944 and '45, when he was the regular 2B for the wartime White Sox. He wore #6 both years. Hope this helps.

Ok great, now everybody stay away!...hahahahaha......I lost out recently on the 1951 White Sox flannel that was on ebay and would love to score this one.....but then again, there's a zillion other things I'd love to score.....btw, anybody on the GUU win the '51 Dobson jersey auction that ended on 10/24?....inquiring minds want to know :-)
