Does anyone tell me what does Cool Base mean?

Does it mean game issued for players?

I'm pretty sure it's just what majestic calls the new jerseys. Like Adidas calls their thing ClimaCool. It doesn't necessarily mean that it's issued just because it's a cool base, because they sell cool bases to the public. You have to go by the tagging. Hope this helps. Ricardo

Majestic Men's MLB Authentic On-Field Cool Base Jersey is made of 100% polyester mock mesh/stretch mesh gueet material. This is a button front jersey with left chest authentic tackle twill application. This baseball jersey is made to be worn on the field of play during the summer months.


Here's the description given on the mlb shops on line.

It's a lighter material (a cross between the full poly and mesh) which breathes easier and makes for a cooler material during hot summer months.

The material is much lighter and in my opinion won't last as long as regular full stretch poly jerseys.

I think for this reason we don't see cool base pants.
