I once authenticated for a dealer a Bears gamer of Zorich (not this blitzed).
The eventual (first) buyer of the item, an expert-in-his-own-mind who worked for Beckett at the time, returned it because he didn't believe Zorich could wear a 46 (not taking into account the tightness most linemen have in their game jerseys). If he sees this I wonder what he thinks NOW?:) :)

Thanks Tyrcha! I figured that might be you bidding but I couldn't let this one go as I have been looking for a Zorich for years. I have been jealous of your '93 home jersey for quite some time.

The photomatch came from a Tribune image I bought from their archives on ebay. which obviously eliminated any concerns I had about the size. With the damage to the sleeves and front, I figured a match was just a matter of time.

Which begs the question, why before the first alternate game of 2011 does he already have a hole in the right sleeve? The fact that the jersey is tagged 2008 might be an explanation. Same jersey used in '08 and/or '09? Quite possibly.

I've bought 5 different poster-size Getty images that ID this thing down to the mesh holes. It's amazing to see when you can photomatch something using pictures that are massive. The detail is crazy good! If you don't mind dropping the coin, the super-size Gettys are the way to go when it comes to photomatching.

Those were only slightly better than the results Matt got matching my orange Urlacher. Dude knocked that one out of the park. ;)
I've since gotten several large Gettys of that one too.

Went to the Broncos game, it was a great time until about 5 minutes left. The stadium was great, the fans were good too, not too abusive to the Bears fans. We sat at about the 50 yard line, 12 rows up. Here's a few of the many photos I took, although these are saved in lower res, I have plenty of high res photos.

As most of you know I am a 49er collector but our new coach was a Bears QB for many years.

I present a 1991 GU photo-matched Jim Harbaugh home jersey. Matches up with this wire photo from 1991.

The jersey was evaluated by our resident expert dave Miedema who agreed and is in the process of writing me an LOO.

Here are two of my newer pickups side by side. The Stephen Paea 1st sack jersey and Henry Melton's home jersey. I'm pretty sure I can photo match the Melton to a game during his rookie year through the last home game he played in this year. The jersey is absolutely trashed with all kinds of hit marks, repairs, a layer of 2 sided tape stuck in both shoulders and excessive discoloration from deodorant in both armpits. Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics. When I get time I'll get down and dirty with this Melton and a decent camera.

Desi, it was great hanging with you today. I didn't get a huge score of cleats like you, but I did get to meet Stephen Paea. 2011 Kahlil Bell jersey worn for the last two games of the season against Green Bay and Minnesota.

With so many injuries affecting the Bears offense at this point, Bell was about all that was left in terms of the ground attack, hence the multitude of hit marks, including Packer and Viking helmet paint.

Here is my George Blanda Game-Used chinstrap.
This item comes from the collection of Ron Zera, he was the visiting clubhouse for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Wrigley Field from 1967-1982. During this time the Bears still played their home games at Wrigley Field up until 1970.

The chinstrap was used on 12/09/1956.
The Bears beat the Cardinals 10-3 on their way to a final record of 8-2-1.
Blanda kicked a 36-yard field goal and one extra point in the game.
He added 44 yards passing.

I also have a ticket stub from this game and a 1956 Chicago Bears media guide with Blanda on the cover.

I love the jersey! It is trashed, torn and stained.
I'm just surprised how narrow it is. It stretches like crazy to fit a guy that big.

I wish I could Rick. Problem is - that was custom made by the original builder to house the water pump for our well. Since we are in modern times, we got off the pump and are now hooked up to city water (which is also now mounded underneath & around that cabinet.

Without some major reconstruction of our plumbing, there is not much I can do with it. So, for the time being, its going to stay.

Stick a few bottles of booze, and a mini fridge in there to go along with the shot glasses and beer pints, and I don't think to many people will care about it.

Just noticed something on a pair of Briggs should I got last season. On his cleats, on the underside of the tongue, there is a tag that should read "Custom made for 55 Berger". As most of you know, 55 Berger is Lance's twitter handle, and Berger is a childhood nickname.

While watching the original Brian's Song last night, I seem to have stumbled upon the answer. I took a couple screen shots and it looks like the wrinkles at the bottom of the 1 and the 6 match up. The screenshots you supplied do indeed show QB Kent Nix appearing as an extra in the movie. Nix was on the Bears taxi squad in 1970, and was issued #16. To my eyes, it looks like there's a difference in the placement of the front number 16, compared to what Nix is wearing in the screenshots. The top of the front "1" on your shirt is somewhat higher than the top of the "6" compared to what Nix is wearing.

Trifecta's let alone Urlachers are nearly impossible to describe to anyone outside of another collector who shares a similar passion the sense of accomplishment, elation and the effort/work & a little luck thats involved in making it all happen.

Defiantly my greatest collecting accomplishment with my only regrets being the Urlacher & Briggs 911's from 2011 but maybe that's just the hoarder inside of me!

Time to wake this thread up a little bit. Presenting, what I'm pretty sure is, the LAST jersey Olin Kreutz wore during his HOF career. The jersey looks like hit has been scrubbed professionally. There are very faint helmet burns on the shoulder patches. Also, the neck has what looks to be some rubbing and cloth snags. Too bad his last jersey wasn't a Bears jersey. :(

Schwatz COA's and Holo's are generic (no serialization or classification) so you can swap those out for just about anything, pretty easily.

The Packer Backers on this site are entitled to crow some about this game...the Bears offense was as bad against Green Bay as it was good against the Colts. The Bears "D" performed well against Rodgers and his comrades, but Trent Dilfer must be giddy with excitment at the chance to legitimately rip on Jay Cutler next time he's on TV, even though Cutler was only part of the problem.

Just picked up one of my favorite game used Bears jerseys, a Nick Roach. Worn in 2011 vs Kansas City, the jersey is hammered with use, especially in the shoulders. It has great hit marks, a nice size hole and tape on the inside.

Game used Izzy Idonije full uniform from 12/18/11 vs Seattle. That was a muddy day at Soldier Field and the jersey reflects it, especially on the pants and socks. I've photo matched the jersey top thanks to the hole in the right shoulder.

This is a Briggs 09 Captains Patch jersey vs Green Bay DJNOS & I were looking at last time it sold on eBay until we found out that Dude liked 2 wear it 2 games & washed it who knows how many times.

Thats because the Tillman & Briggs home jerseys were sold together in same same transaction on ebay by the previous owner/clown who liked 2 wear/wash these jerseys countless times.

Now the current owner wants record setting prices for jerseys that NOW show next to nothing, can't be photo matched & devalued to the point of why even bother sounds like a great deal to me.

As a collector the ruining of these jersey's especially the Briggs really makes my stomach turn.

What a waste, out of curiosity, I looked at the other items for sale. Look at the Manning jersey in the competed items for this seller, particularly the captain patch.

The Manning & road Tillman are legit though WAY overvalued.

No ones into Manning even though he's still a decent player in the league while the Tillman jersey is priced as though the seller saw the NFL Auction results with a jersey from a multiple forced turnover game when the jersey being sold by the seller is nothing more than a 4 tackle performance vs the Eagles. Still a nice jersey but no special stats or associated sick wear.

DJNOS gave the seller an earful big time on the Briggs price for a multiple wash altered jersey.

I think the Manning jersey itself is legit, but the captain patch doesn't look right IMO.

As far as I am concerned this is a thread to post your Chicago Bears game used items, not a place to post lame facebook style posters meant to raz your division rival. There are other places for that. And no, no one thinks it is a huge deal what one team scored against another as opposed to their division rival because it is a weak arguement. This isn't the BCS, there aren't style points, just wins and loses. If Game Used Universe is a place for talking junk about other teams in their own thread than I'm in the wrong place.
