Came across this jersey on ebay and hope to get some opinions, is it legit. Im not sure that number was worn in 76.

#30 was assigned to Tony Scott in 1976, but he didn't make the team. Given the practice of teams using their previous season's jerseys in a given year's spring training that was the norm in those days, Dave Cash likely wore it in 1977ST. Sizing of the jersey would be appropriate for both men. I'm also curious if the 1976 Olympics patch was ever added to/removed from the right sleeve.

I agree with Dave. Probably Dave Cash's jersey from 77. Ask the dealer if there used to be a patch on the shoulder. Also, the same seller has a minor league jersey and is claiming it's George Foster's. It's not. He never played for that team. If anybody knows who might have worn #12 with that team please let me know. thanks.
